PHOTOS FROM THE BIRTHDAY BOX PROJECT
NOVEMBER - DECEMBER 2006
In conjunction with our mission statement of helping children to become more aware of their community, UCCC families are invited several times each year to participate in caring for others. Children are involved in helping create, organize and deliver these gifts and services. Past service projects have involved making gift bags for the Joseph's Residence and The Missoula Food Bank clients, holding bake sales for the Poverello Center, collecting cake mixes and frosting for the Food Bank on Martin Luther King's Birthday and collecting slippers for the Watson's Children's Home. The pictures below are from our Birthday Box Project for the Joseph Residences Transitional Housing, where childen collected, organized, decorated and delivered 'birthday boxes'.
